3.5 The gnocchi was tender and pillow-y soft but the chicken was extremely driver. The sauce was pretty rich. I personally prefer pesto over tomato sauce but that's just my preference. It wasn't spicy but it had a little heat from the Calabrian peppers. It gave the dish a smoky taste. Very filling and comforting. Service was great, too. Only thing is the chicken. Suggest to order this as is, no protein added.

Located across from Gate A23. Had a layover on Christmas Eve. Bless the staff for working today. The hostess wasn't the most friendly -- according to my 6-yr old (I agree), but Cheryl took our order and was lovely. She offered to separate everything for us (root beer separate from vanilla ice cream, slaw and mayo separate from the sandwich in case my son didn't like them since we were sharing a plate. According to my kiddo, this is the best restaurant in the airport because they serve vanilla ice cream. Those aren't the highest standards, so I wouldn't take his word too strongly. The fries were decent and the sandwich was fine. I'd consider eating here again and maybe getting a beer next time since they seem to have a lot of options. Solid 4 stars overall. This restaurant has a high end feel, especially for being located in the airport. There's a gas fireplace which makes the space feel cozy, and pretty chandeliers across the ceiling. Beautiful bar area. Just well decorated overall.

It's an airport so you don't expect much but this place was actually very good. The space is inviting with a massive window that let in a lot of sunlight nice change from a normal airport restaurant. The lamb burger cooked medium was delicious. Perfect dinner paired with a beer. Also loved the twice cooked fries. My server Kathy was friendly and welcoming. Overpriced but it's an airport so you expect it. Will definitely be back when I come through Detroit again.

Stopped in here last minute after a long flight just wanting a quick bite. They were closing in 25 minutes. My waitress was just as friendly as can be- she did not rush us or give us an attitude. How refreshing is that?!!!! I was cold and hungry so I got the spicy tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich and it was amazing! Talk about comfort food! I was content and ready for the last leg of my journey. I highly recommend stopping in.
